TODD BENZIN
Todd got his start in improvisational comedy in 1995 and has performed in the Greater Niagara Frontier region, Kansas City, Chicago, and Toronto. In Toronto, he graduated from the prestigious Second City Conservatory in November of 2000. In addition to being an improviser with The Eclectic Improv Co. and Babushka!, , Todd is also a professional actor in Buffalo, having played at Shakespeare in Delaware Park, the Irish Classical Theatre, MusicalFare, the Kavinoky Theatre, Road Less Traveled, Ujima Theatre, and others. He was nominated for an Artvoice Theatre Award as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical for the 20+ roles he played in Sisters of Swing: The Andrews Sisters Musical at MusicalFare.
MARISA CARUSO
Marisa Caruso is a local actress and improviser. A student of the iO Theater in Chicago and a graduate of the SUNY Fredonia Department of Theater and Dance, recent roles include Maria in Lend Me a Tenor with Lancaster Opera House, Sylvia in Sylvia with Buffalo Laboratory Theater and Daughter in A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay About the Death of Walt Disney with Road Less Traveled Productions. She has also performed with Theater of Youth, Shakespeare in Delaware Park, and multiple improv comedy companies in the WNY region.
In addition to his work on the comedy stage, Peter is a producer and director of creative media such as film, television and commercial videos which have been broadcast across North America and around the world. He travels regularly as a consultant to major corporations through his company, Cumbo, Inc. He is in demand as a speaker and motivator, delivering transformational seminars and workshops to leaders in a variety of industries.
A graduate of Toronto’s Second City Conservatory Program, Don has been acting and improvising for over 25 years. He can be seen in the film QUEEN CITY starring Vivica A. Fox and Peter Jason; and the upcoming historical drama MARSHALL, starring Chadwick Boseman, Josh Gad and Kate Hudson. He has performed on many Buffalo stages and is a member of Actors’ Equity Association and is currently Equity Liaison for the Buffalo-Rochester Area.You may also recognize Don from recent AAA and Seneca Allegany Casino commercials. As an improviser, he has trained under Susan Messing, Moira Dunphy, Jerry Schaefer, and the late Frank McAnulty. He is a founding member of Buffalo’s own Eclectic Improv Company and long-form duo Babushka!. He also co-hosts the weekly comedy podcast The Discount Deejays.
Steve has over 25 years of Improv experience, performing with On Thin Ice while at Harvard, Tilt while in grad school at Michigan, and in an AFI-Fest improv mockumentary with Kalamazoo's Crawlspace Eviction. His training includes completing Chicago's iO and Toronto's Impatient Theater Company Improv Programs. Locally he’s been cast at Shakespeare in Delaware Park and Kavinoky Theatre, and he occasionally improvises with The Eclectic Improv Co. and IMF.
